Adnan Rafiq, MD

Dr. Rafiq is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has been serving the Houston community since 2009, with a clinical focus on diabetes mellitus and coronary heart disease. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University and completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he was appointed chief resident.

Dr. Rafiq is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care for patients aged 18 and older. He is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and English, allowing him to connect with and serve a diverse patient population. Known for his approachable style, he emphasizes clear communication, active listening, and long-term patient relationships to support ongoing wellness.

He believes in treating every patient like family, working collaboratively to understand their individual needs and support them in achieving their long-term health goals. Dr. Rafiq’s warm and thorough approach reflects his deep commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rafiq lives in Houston with his wife and four children. He enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and cheering for the Houston Rockets. His personal and professional dedication makes him a trusted partner in health for the local community.
